I love a simple grid arrangement when creating a quick card. In this case, the grid combined with a neutral kraft cardstock really lets the texture and color of the Fiesta Felt buttons take center stage. Tie embroidery thread through button holes, or leave them open as I did to make the card even more quickly.
Materials:
Fiesta Felt buttons from Buttons Galore (Amore & Frio)
Kraft cardstock
Stamping Ink (Dark Brown and Sour Apple from Clearsnap)
Sentiment stamp (Just Wanted from Hero Arts)
Fabric and dimensional adhesives
Square Bracket Tag (Elle’s Studio)
Small pink safety pin
Instructions:
- Cut and fold kraft cardstock to create 6×6 top-fold card. Ink edges of card front using Dark Brown ink.
- Arrange felt buttons to create desired color and shape grid arrangement. Glue buttons in place using fabric adhesive.
- Stamp sentiment onto bracket shape using light blue ink. Cut out bracket shape from premade tag and attach safety pin.
- Attach tag to card using dimensional adhesive.
