I love little gifts that I can make with items that I’ve got on hand and give as hostess gifts, thank you tokens, and teacher’s presents. Usually it’s on short notice- and I can whip up one of these Envelope Booklets in an hour. WIN!
Supply list:
- 6 matching envelopes
- Trims and Treasures in Sunburst for the buttons and super-cute ribbon.
- Zip Dry Adhesive
- Hook-and-Loop tape
- Scrapbook paper (2-3 coordinating sheets)
The construction is super-simple: you glue your envelopes together to create an accordian-fold book, then dress it up with the scrapbook paper.
(You can read the full instructions on my blog, as well as seeing a different version.) I used a punch an some paper flowers to dress up the labels on the inside.
I glued the ribbon along the front flap and around the back. I glued the stacked buttons on top, and the hook-and-loop tape underneath, to make a handy-dandy closure.
These are so fun and easy to make, I bet you’ll want to make a few just to have on hand!
