Graduation Card with Cap and Tassel

Create this unique graduation card for your very special graduate.

This card features a square on the top that looks like a graduation cap along and is adorned by a tassel. It is fun to make and embellish with buttons and elements from the Grad collection.

Use blue shinny and glittery card stock, blue embroidery floss and buttons and stars from Party On 28 Lilac Lane kit.

Fold the card stock in towards the center at 3 3/4″, then trim the height down a bit to 7 1/4″.

Cut the square at 3 1/2″.

To make the tassel, wrap the embroidery floss around the remaining piece of the 3 inch square of glitter card stock. Tie the “graduate” charm onto the tassel.

Glue the tassel, star button and “congratulations” embellishment onto the center of the graduation cap.

To make the gift card holder, glue the “diploma” button and star onto the glitter card stock.

Glue this gift card holder into the card and add a few sequins for a final touch.

Good luck to all the grads out there!
