Button Heart Bingo Father’s Day Card

Vintage Bingo cards can be so fun to embellish with buttons. The grid makes a perfect surface to create patterns such as a heart outline. Our family tradition to play Bingo on the holidays and mu Dad is always the number caller. This card is for him.

If you don’t happen to have vintage Bingo cards in your craft stash they are easy to find as a download.

For the card base I used a beautiful shiny red Crafter’s Companion card stock.

The red buttons are available in 3.5 oz lots Classic Red.

The blue star buttons are from the Patriotic Value Pack.

The silver ribbon is from the 28 Lilac Lane Let it Snow.

First glue the red buttons down in the shape of a heart then glue the Bingo card onto the red card stock.

I used a thin piece wire to secure a small piece of the silver ribbon onto the back of the star buttons and then glued them onto the Father’s Day card.

I’m a real winner with my Dad! The photo with the card at the top of the post is my favorite one on my Mom and Dad when they were dating in Connecticut. The cool car and the snow!

Happy Father’s Day to all the Dads out there!
