We’re so excited today to be able to share with you the members of our new Buttons Galore & More design team!
We’d like to thank all of the fabulous designers who applied. It was an honor to review your applications.
In the end, we selected six designers for the team, all immensely talented ladies who work in a variety of different crafts and styles. We look forward to sharing their work with you in the next few months, and hope that you love them as much as we do!
So, without further ado…here they are…your Spring 2017 Buttons Galore team!
Aimee says: “I come from a long line of women makers. I sleep under quilts that my grandmother made, my head rests on pillowcases that my aunt embroidered, and my memories are full of time spent watching my mom and grandmother create. The majority of my sewing and embroidery skills are self-taught, and I’d like to think there is a little bit of genetic love seeping through.”
Anaya enjoys designing jewelry, paper crafts, and home decor items embellished with colorful buttons. In 2007, she started YanaDesigns.com to share her love for fun projects and creative craft ideas.
Connie says: I am a wife and a mom. I am also “Nini” to six beautiful “grands”. I have been a crafter for over 30 years and still love the creative process. Looking forward to getting crafty with Buttons Galore & More.
Katie King is a DIY blogger, who believes that crafting should be simple, fun, and unique! She started her blog, Running with a Glue Gun, in order to share her DIY projects and to meet other people who loved to craft! On Running with a Glue Gun she shares DIY tutorials, writes craft product reviews, and shares crafting tips. Her overall goal is to spread the word that you don’t need a ton of money to create an awesome, one-of-kind project!
After studying Culinary Arts in Portland Oregon, Kelli went back home to the sunny South West where she decided she wanted to do different kinds of Art. This busy mom of three spends all of her available free time creating in her Craft Shack “she shed” where she can be found burning wood, repurposing old stuff, crafting, sewing, and painting just about anything she can get her hands on.
My name is Lorrie McCullers and I am an avid crafter. I have loved crafting with paper since I was a kid — who knew that making collages from magazine cut-outs and playing with stickers would lead me to my life-long passion? I am an AFCI Designer Member and currently serve as a brand ambassador for several crafting companies. In addition to crafts, I love to travel, read, and geek out to several sci-fi TV shows.
Congratulations again, and welcome to the new Buttons Galore team! We look forward to seeing their work on the blog in June!
