Let’s make a Card for Dad, shall we?
Just for Father’s Day, let’s step away from the flowers, the ribbons, the lace. Let’s go all MANLY! Blues, browns, etc. – safe color choices. I’m going for a mannish, woodsy feel here. My kids will give this to their dad with a gift card inside.
Instructions for a Card for Dad
- Score lines on cardstock.
- Ink mat with Donna Salazar inks from Clearsnap.
- Add small holes with hole punches and sand a bit to distress it.
- Add paper wire.
- Adhere mat.
- Place sticker on button, sand or cut off excess and attach to paper wire.
- Attach button, add finishing sentiments.
- Complete card.

Great distressing technique!
Very nice! The fence texture brings back memories of my father and I painting the barn when I was young!
