I love using cut files on my projects. Today I want to show you how you can back a cut file using sequins from Buttons Galore. One of my favorite mixes right now is the Mixed Berry Sequins Tins! The colors in this mix are a perfect match with the Happiness collection from Cocoa Vanilla Studio. The cut file I will be using today is from Paige Evans. I started out by cutting the file out twice on some white cardstock. I cut one full heart and then the sectioned heart. I will back the sectioned heart with pattern papers and then add the sequins using Glue Dots Micro Dots to the full heart. I love to use the micro dots to add sequins to my paper projects.![](https://ericarosecreates.files.wordpress.com/2019/06/6d5a8835.jpg)
When adding the sequins to the paper I tried to get them as close together as I could. Once I had everything backed and stuck down I adhered the two hearts together using Aleens’s Clear Tacky Glue. I love this stuff so much especially when sequins and buttons are involved!

I added my photo of our sweet boy Eli and our super cuddly Pitbull Lola. I embellished with die cut pieces, wood veneer, epoxy flair from Scrappin Happy Studio and some beautiful Button Basics in Blush. I absolutely love how this turned out! I love the texture and sparkle the sequins add to this layout. If you have not yet picked up the Mixed Berry sequin mix then now is the time! I also love the packaging and how nice these are to store in your craft space. Here is a look at my completed layout. You can also see the process video HERE on my YouTube channel. Thanks so much for stopping by!
