Patriotic Card Idea
The traditional patriotic colors on this card get a warm vintage feel with softer colors and the use of burlap. Using wood buttons instead of white buttons also adds to the warm feel. The micro-beads give it a touch of shimmer. The card is a 6×6 with a craft card stock base.
Directions:
1. Fold a 6 x 12 piece of card stock in half. Cut a piece of light blue burlap to 5 x 5 and adhere to card front.
2. Cover chipboard letters with Creamy Brown Chalk ink and let dry. Adhere as shown. Place paper on chipboard scalloped circle shape.
3. Coat heart with Lipstick red Chalk ink and let dry. Coat heart with adhesive and sprinkle on microbeads. Tap heart to remove excess. Tie jute cording through holes and tie in a knot. Trim excess cording. Adhere circle to back of heart and adhere to card front.
4. Adhere three buttons on bottom left side.
