Let’s make a Card for Dad, shall we?

Just for Father’s Day, let’s step away from the flowers, the ribbons, the lace. Let’s go all MANLY! Blues, browns, etc. – safe color choices. I’m going for a mannish, woodsy feel here. My kids will give this to their dad with a gift card inside.

Instructions for a Card for Dad

  1. Score lines on cardstock.
  2. Ink mat with Donna Salazar inks from Clearsnap.
  3. Add small holes with hole punches and sand a bit to distress it.
  4. Add paper wire.
  5. Adhere mat.
  6. Place sticker on button, sand or cut off excess and attach to paper wire.
  7. Attach button, add finishing sentiments.
  8. Complete card.

    Very nice! The fence texture brings back memories of my father and I painting the barn when I was young!
